limewire not letting me download my requests

Hi.... I am having trouble..... my computer showed a blue screen and said that i had a parity system error and to check with my hardware people.... something like that anyways...

my only problem seems to be with limewire in that when I do a search i can't double click or push the download button in order to get the item that i need or want...

I then downloaded the 4.10 version and same problem...

any advice, ideas, help, suggestions.... thanks

after posting my message i decided to look around for others in the same boat... found them.... and found my answer

I reset the defaults to the original, found in the options in the toolbar.... somehow the parity check did something to it...... anyone had the parity check thing happen to them while running limewire????
