Cant play .avi files Hi. i have downloaded a couple of video files with the file ending in .avi and i cant get them to play. In realplayer they just wont work and in windows media player all that happens is that flashy light pattern come up instead of the video. Could someone give me some advice, thanks |

It means you're lacking the correct codecs. Try out VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) as it's a video program that has in-built codecs & is generally very reliable. Very good for previewing as well as a main player since it can play many audio formats & is good for audio & video streaming, etc. Can downld skins also.
