a huge problem I downloaded a movie file and I think my computer crashed before limewire could verify file contents etc. (If memory serves me right) Now i have a file that's in my folder, but its apparently undeletable. when i try to delete the folder, it says "Cannot find the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name." Right clicking on the file gives me the following options: "Play, Open, Add to Now Playing List, Add to Playlist..., Add to Sync List, Add to Burn List, Open With..., Send To >, Play On My >" I thought that it might be because the file was fragmented and I've done a defrag already, to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated, ty. |
Just because the file didn't pass verification doesn't necessarily mean it's no good. Have you tried playing it? If you want to delete it, make sure LW is closed. See Incomplete Download File won't delete at all (click on link) |
