Default please help!! windows xp burning cds

Hello I dont know if Im in the right place to ask this question. But I hope someone can help me. I have downloaded some songs from limewire and transferred them from the Shared file in to my own music file. I then tried to burn them on to a blank cd but when I select Start Burn on Windows Media Player it says the status of the first song is "inspecting". Then nothing happens.
Can anyone tell me how to get my limewire downloads burned onto a cd using Windows Media Player? Please help.

I will reply, first don't use Windows Media Player to burn cd's, use a program like Nero, Roxio, or Real Player. You can use Alcohol 120% but you will need to create an ISO (image file) then use Alcohol to burn it. WinISO is an excellent program for creating ISO images.
