Bitrate

When I download a tune in LimeWire that say has a bitrate of 128, does it make any difference in sound quality if I up the rate to 160 when I convert the tune to an iTunes MP3 file. Does it improve the quality or should I just leave it at 128? Thanks

I 99.9% sure that this will not improve the quality.. ...but it is a question have asked my self lol :) my answer is no it won't improve the quality. I can't see how it could:)
