Angry Dowload Uber slow

There is no problem with my internet connection. cuz limewire used to werk fine and dowload a song in about 30-45 seconds and now the dowload rate is going from 1-3 kb/s
Any suggestions?

Try deleting your LW preferences (while LW's closed). Instructions in here:

Use the search (top right between faq & home). Try looking for 'slow downloads' or similar. This'll let you look through all old threads & you might find a fix

* Any chance that your ISP is filtering p2p?? Might be worth asking them!

If you are using a router and Windows XP Professional:

Make Sure UPnP is working:

Start
Run
services.msc
OK

Look in the list for Universal Plug and Play
Double-click
If started do nothing-

If not started start the service
On the drop down list choose Automatic
Click OK

If using a router with a GUI Web Interface (Linksys, DLink, etc)

Add Limewire to Port Forwarding (Choose a Port)

If using a firewall, Norton Internet Security, Norton Internet Worm Protection, and the like.

Make sure your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the port.
