I have had several instances of sources drying up with the transfer almost complete. For example, right now I have a song that is listed as 2:22, and have 2:21 of it downloaded. I have played it, and am satisfied with what I have. If the source comes back on-line, and I can complete the transfer ... fine. But until that happens, I would like to be able to save and use what I have. I have tried to drag the incomplete file to another folder ... no dice. Same thing with the preview file (both in the incomplete folder). There is no Windows type function to copy (or move) an item from the incomplete folder to anywhere else.

Granted, I am not a "Power PC User", so I may be missing something obvious as a means of capturing this essentially complete song for my enjoyment.

They are in the incomplete folder, true, but they are not useful or usable there. Speaking of 'there' ... that means "at that place"; you obviously intended the homonym "they're" (that group of entities are) ... the failure of the educational system from the nineteen sixties on. Spend more time on your education, and less in making comments on the Internet about subjects you are woefully lacking in the experience to deal with ... as stating the obvious. The files are SAVEd ... they just are not useful where they are ... and there is no mechanism to move them to a place where they would be useful.

Not being a Power PC user, it took me a while to learn that I could, in fact, open a window starting with my hard drive, and follow the tree to the incomplete folder. There, with Windows functions, I could easily copy the incomplete file into another folder, where I could re-name it and use it.

So there was something obvious (to a Power PC user) that could be done to use that incomplete file.

I apologize for my blow-up at receiving a reply that inferred there was a way, without spelling the mechanism out for me. After several hours of trying to use LimeWire in some way to get the file where I wanted it without success, I was already extremely frustrated. Then, when I find an e-mail notification that a reply had been made to my question, my spirits rose ... only to be dashed by an uninformative post from someone who registered days ago.

Now I have learned something more about this computer ... a platform that I avoided after being exposed to the clumsiness of the TRS-80, when I was accustomed to the ease of use of the Amiga. Things have improved considerably since the days of DOS (pre MS-DOS), and I have to put aside my prejudice against Intel microprocessors ... and learn what the current operating system is capable of doing.
