Largest File To Share

What is the largest file i can share i have the movie a personal movie it is 4 gb., i cant get it any smaller or the video will not show up, but it will not show up in my "Shared" folder. so what is the file size limit?

You aren't allowed to name the files,

The files can be as large as you want. You should be able to copy and paste it into your shared folder. The default place for your shared folder is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared.

Some people might not want to d/l a file that large. It would be better if it was smaller or split into two files. I'm no expert but if you still have the disc you could try using a program like DVD Shrink to edit the file.

sy bout that, i did but it will not show up in the "SHARED" folder in the limewire program.

Try hitting the refresh button in the library page in LW. Or shut down LW and restart it. If it's in the shared folder it should show up in LW.

Also it could be in a sub folder in your library and you might be sharing it but you won't see it unless you open the sub folder. If any of your folders in the library have the little triangle by it, click on it to expand the folder.

i shut it down and restarted and nothing, but i will try to shrink it thanks for the help
