All speeds have completly dropped?

I recently got broadband last month and currently have a 2.2Mbps connection speed....so not exactly slow. I then downloaded Limewire Basic and no problems whatsoever! Searches came up nice and fast and so were the downloads.
But all of a sudden since last week, everthing has come to a hault?!?!

The searches take longer to come through and when i try to download music tracks - they take about 2hours to download? Can anyone help me with an answer as to why all has slowed right down? And if theres anything i can do to get it back to normal speed? Much appreciated
