I have been using Limewire successfully for sharing files, both uploads and downloads for several months.

I can still download with ease and I am still sharing my files. However, I have come across a peculiarity recently while looking for a particular audio file from one particular artist. There are many users sharing this file at an assortment of speeds with assorted filenames; the figure on the tab is (240). Whenever I try to download this file Limewire will not connect to user(s) even though there are 48 users sharing the same file. The Browse Host button is greyed out and the bitrate column is empty. I tried searching for the album that this track comes from and have had success finding the album as a file and seperate tracks. All these files appear to suffer the same peculiarity as previously stated.... I cannot connect or download, Browse Host greyed out and no bitrate shown for the files.

I have searched for another song by another artist (to put on the same CD I am compiling) and again have not been able to download 1 particular title by this artist (for the reasons above) but with full freedom to download any other title by the same artist.

I have checked all my settings... firewall etc. and as stated previously I can still upload and download files normally except for these files mentioned above. I cannot believe that all these users are leachers, so there must be another reason why I cannot connect or downlaod from them.

Addendum to last post:

Some of the users sharing these files show that they have chat enabled but if I try to chat to them nothing happens (no chat window opens). Though I can chat to other users sharing other files.
