cant delete downloaded files
 

I have files in my shared folder that i cant move or delete.
When i try to i get a message telling me that its in use by another person or program and that i must shut down this other thing before i can delete.
As far as im concerned nothing else is using the file, so how do i delete it?

Either someone is uploading the file(s) or you've previewed/launched them & that program is still open. Try closing all programs & then deleting. If that doesn't work, then see Incomplete Download File won't delete at all (click on link)

Can't Xfer In Use files.
 

I found this problem but solved it by turning off the other running programs and di simple copy past and dragging from the saved file to another . I modify the files and names so they will fit and tranfer to a disc or delete them.

I found that trying to transfer extra large or long titles was a problem too. I simple selected everything in my optional file and gave the list a short title. The computer auto named all the files in the folder . :D
