Corrupt Files As of late, I am having problems successfully completing a single download. I now receive the following message on every attempt: "Limewire has detected a corruption in the file "x". Do you want to continue the download?" If I choose "no" the download is terminated. If I choose "yes", the file completes but when I attempt to play the song it only plays the first 10 (or so) seconds and continues to repeat. I have Un-installed Limewire and re-installed it thinking this might help, but to no avail. Any thoughts/suggestions out there? There are a lot of bad files being shared on the network, probably by our friends:rolleyes: at the RI** and MP** to try and discourage people downloading files. Try staying away from files being shared with a "T3 or Higher" connection speed and try downloading files with only a few sources instead of the ones with the most. It's not a problem with LW. It's the files being shared. Over time you'll get a feel for whats good or not. A lot of it is trial and error. There is a lot of good info in the stickies at the top of each forum.
