Dowmlod fine but install wont go on my Mac...Please help

I download Ilife 06 for Mac on my Mac but when I try to install it in my system it says unsuported version. I tried too many times as Sit and dmg..It is iLife 06 DVD.
I need to know how ? If someone can explane..Thankx Sam....
