Before updating to the new version of limewire a week ago, I had to manually drag my newly downloaded songs from the limewire library to my iTunes library, which worked perfectly. Now that I updated to the newest version of Limewire, it won't let me drag my new songs to iTunes, nor does it transfer the songs I downloaded automatically into iTunes. What can I do to get my music from limewire into iTunes and thus onto my iPod? Please Help!

There's more than one technique. Open your LW downld folder, drag & drop them onto iTunes Library icon at the top of the playlist section of iTunes. For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. I'll need to check out the new windows version to see if I have the same problem with dragging them from LW's library window. Are you talking about LW 4.10.5 or one of the later beta versions?

I updated to the newer 4.10.9 version & I had no problems dragging songs from LW's Library window over to iTunes. Keep in mind, iTunes will not import songs already in its own library. So if they've already been added, you can't re-add the same song files.

I dragged my entire Saved Files (held down SHIFT key as I selected them) over to iTunes & six were added to iTunes.
