You might have to revert popups to default & change your answer within the license warning box. Info here

thanks this works.but now i have another problem.

i'll be downloading something with 10 hosts @ 160kb/s then it goes down to 40kb/s and stays there.why is this? i've got zone alarm pro and i have made sure 'the fastest file sharing...planet' (this is what limewire appears as) program is trusted.

is there any other limewire associated programs or files that must be trusted to obtain a higher download rate?

Download speed depends on a lot of things. Do you have the XP firewall disabled (you shouldn't run 2 firewalls together)?

There are lots of good tips here for getting the best out of LW

You'll find some info here too

If you're always getting fast speeds which drop a lot, just make sure it's not a problem with your ISP;)

thanks my download speed has improved i.e. staying at a constant speed. but now i know that my isp Tiscali filters p2p! i

s there any way to disable this so i can obtain maximal downlaod speeds?

There's some info about ISPs who filter p2p here. Also info about a fix but I don't know if it'll be any use to you:(

Use the search button (top right, between faq & home) to look for info about Tiscali, you might find a few clues.

Good luck!
