Interesting DL Problem This just started happening a few days ago... Pretty much every song I search for comes up with a bunch of results like usual...but then it shows that mostly every song has 7 users...but then they just come up with "more sources needed" Is there a reason for this? |
can anyone help |
If you're searching for songs from the same band, maybe you're hitting the same seven dud sources every time. Try searching for something completely different, like Mozart, and see if it happens again. |
some songs (more popular ones) seem to always work still.. But do you have any idea how i'd fix this problem... Pretty much every result has 7 users and none work |
Try Mozart and see if you are being blocked from current pop music but not the public domain stuff. |
mozart works and lots of stuff works...like ac/dc, tons more Goldfinger songs im having trouble with...alot of bands...its just weird they come up with 7 users each and none work |
All normal over here for that group. Maybe you are stuck behind a broken host. See if shutting LimeWire down and restarting it wil jar it out of that rut. |
well ive closed it a bunch of times...this has been going on for a few days... I seem to be able to find most songs but not any goldfinger songs (less popular ones) The 7 user thing just keeps happening.... Anything you know that would cause this and how i could fix it? |
Try varying your search. Search for artist or specific title or alternative title ... other songs they've done. Find another album they've done, browse the host on those & see what they've got. Browsing is a very valuable tool at times. You can find material you might not so easily find in a search. |
Where are you, stuck inside a company or college LAN? Search for BearShare v5.1.0 and earlier and test with that to see if your results differ. 5.2.0 and up are poison, so don't touch them. |
