I have cabel, so why is my download so slow
 

Erm, I have Cable, so how come my current download speed it topping at 7kb/s- 8kb/s? Or is this just the max speed for free accounts? Sorry i dont use limewire that often so im a bit confused :confused:

I would upgrade to Pro, but i've been really lazy latlely to go to the bank, my paychecks have been sitting there for weeks now lol

Is your connection ok, with no firewall icon showing?
Are you sure it's not an issue with your ISP??

Don't get Pro until you're sure that Basic will work ok & until you know your ISP isn't filtering p2p;)

perhaps its my limewire settings, b/c i was able to download a 30MB (about) anime show (naruto) in about 1 min.. thanks again for the link to setting LW profromance

yay its now up to 23kb/s lol not optimal but a huge improvent :D
