Hey all, new here, have a question.

I used to use winmx and on there you had an option to save a user to your favorites so you could find them again. I haven't been able to find a way to do this with limewire so I was wondering if the option is available.

When I browse a user sometimes I would like to find them again. Any clues on how to do this?

I am on the free version.

I don't think that there is a way to do this unfortunatly. Try posting it in feature-requests, then maybe they will put it in a newer version

As long as the person isn't on a network, you can try making a note of their ip address & then attempting to direct connect to them at a later time. How to use Direct Connect.

But if you know what files they have, you can search for those files again & if they're online, then you may find them again anyway. Browse them to check.

By those on a network I mean those with ip's starting with either 192.xxx or 10.xxx, etc. Also those that don't have their firewalls properly configured will be impossible to direct connect to. And to direct connect to, both you & them must have free & available upload & downld slots & bandwidth.
