playback of downloads sounds like chipmunks!
 

I have downloaded with no difficulty, but when I play it back/launch music, it sounds "sped up".
I am using windows Millenium edition, and my internet connection is DSL.

Any suggestions?

What are you using to play the songs back? I use Windows Media player 10. Not sure that is the problem.

Hi,
If you're using the LW player, try disabling it (tools > options > player. Untick use LW player & apply). Do as moe2006 suggests & make something else your default player.

If the songs still sound like chipmunks:D (sorry, I'm sure it's not funny to you) then this thread might have a solution for you
