Only get the preview!!!
 

Ello,

Im using Limewire on a mac running OS 10.3.

I keep getting this weird problem when I download mpegs or mov files.
If I preview the movie when say 10% is downloaded it shows me the preview fine.

However with some of the files after I've waited for the rest of the movie to download and save the file. When i try to play it all I can see is the preview.

The download worked fine as far as i can see. The files size is much larger than it was when i played the preview.

If i don't play a preview then i can see the whole file when i download it.

Any ideas on how I can retreve the whole file? I know its there!

What program are you using to play the file? My guess is QuickTime player. I'd recommend VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site)

I just downloaded VLC and all the files play all the way through.

Quicktime player obviously has some problems with files downloaded from Limewire.

Anyone who reads this with similar problems VLC really does sort it out.
