![]() Okay, I have been using limewire for about a little under 2 years, I have never really had any major problems with it, until recently. I got a new computer 2 months ago and loaded Limewire Basic on, it seemed to be fine, but then about 1-2 weeks ago I was trying to download a few videos, it would go slow, and then after downloading for about a day, my comp. would start going really slow and limewire would come up with a box that said, "Limewire has encountered an internal error and mu st shut down" when I tried to start it up again, it wouldn't start my downloads again and I'd have to start all over again. So then earlier this week I uninstalled it and reinstalled another one, and everything seemed to be going good. My downloads were SUPER fast. Then it gave me an internal error and I shut it down and when it started up it told me can't restart downloads, so I would go in the incomplete file and restart all of them by myself. Well it worked and quickly started downloading where it had left off, but then I've had about half the videos I've downloaded say downloaded 100%, going at 0 kb. The files won't verify. Like I said this is only about half of the files, and the files have been done for hours and hours now. So it's still in the incomplete file, and I don't know what to do. Can anyone help? Thanks, Katie |

![]() Your original problem was probably with Java, somehow it became corrupted. You may want to try an earlier version of java 1.4 or the new beta version java 6. you can get them at the links below. Use the offline installers http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html http://java.sun.com/javase/6/ As far as the files not verifying have you previewed them if you have and they are OK then you can go to the folder where you save your incomplete and copy it. Then paste it in your share folder and rename it just remove T-854388000- part of the name or completely rename it if you wish. |
