Talking Be Nice To Have

would be great is maker would add a function if you cancle a download to readd it so it will finish.. because if you download something not fully and pause it.. and close limewire and reopen limwire.. it will auto start the paused download you had .. if you cancle it so you can finish it later.. you cant readd it and have to redownload... would be an easy function to add since the part is still in the incomplete folder and doesnt completely delete it.. also for it to auto delete the complete out of the incomplete folder.. i hate anything that takes up space for nothing.... NOT COMPLANING MAKER DOIN A GREAT JOB JUST WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE DONE

Open your library, go to the incomplete folder, highlight the file in question and click resume.

Default yes i knew that

but it needs a built in function so dont have to do it a button to hide paused or show paused and a function to remember last paused and resumed on close

Default got to make you mad

its got to make you mad if you pause something and then close it to play a game that just finished so the java doesnt lagg your computer in the game and you open it and everything you had on pause is downloading at once and your one thing you wanted to resume is on hold because everything else took up the 3 places you have set to download.. just saying it would be great for it to remember what is to download and what was to pause isnt hard to make it save a dat file to read and write to on close or open omg i make yahoo programs all the time and just think about having to type in your bot names every time you open it.. it gets agervating

If its paused when you close limewire, it is paused when you start it up again.
if its downloading when you close limewire, it will attempt to start downloading again when restarted.

If its cancelled, it will not reappear regardless of wether limewire is left alone or shut down and restarted, but it can be restarted by browsing the incomplete directory through the library tab, highlighting the file in question and selecting resume. (Either during that limewire session or a subsequent one)

What our friend appears to be asking for is some sort of setting where you can click on it and set a time for it to start downloading, unsure if they want limewire to auto restart so it can do it at the correct time, or if they just want it to do it at the given time if it happens to be active at the time.

Default Mine Doesnt Not

my limewire pro if you pause it and close limewire completely and then reopen limewire what ever you had paused before you closed limewire is resumming not going back on pause

yes like an option to hide the uncomplete or show incomplete and it save and remember when you reopen limewire to keep the hide or show

i prog in vb6 and vb.net or i'd download your src and fix it my self on close to save in the dat file in the incompete folder and on reopen to read the dat file .. becaus eon my side it isnt doing that on reopen everythign is finding sources and most was on pause

as said im not bitching or complaining the maker is doing a great job just i see a few things i would like it to do

Well if your a programmer, there's a project for you, see if you can find the relevant handles, and control limewire your self! Never done it with a Java program before, but it is simple enough with a standard windows program, so I would reckon it should be possible..
