Is Pro a scam?
 

So, I just paid 18.00 dollars for LimeWire Pro. They said I would get better search results and faster downloads. Well, I'm getting LESS search results and SLOWER download speeds then before I went Pro. Is the problem my computer? Can I get a refund? Is it a scam? Any help would be great. I'm so frustrated.

If you get Pro from www.limewire.com then it's not a scam.
Pro connects you to 5 ultrapeers, compared to basic's 3, which gives you better search results. You can download from 10 hosts, compared to basic's 8, which gives you a faster download speed... when you're downloading from the maximum hosts.

You're really only going to see the benefits of faster speed if you had a reasonable speed to begin with. If you're on a very slow speed then it's not going to make much difference.

There's a no refund policy for Pro, because the basic version is offered for free.
