LimeWire Pro support access I have documentation that shows that I am a registered LimeWire Pro user, but the website will not recognize me. I verified that I am using the correct e-mail address, but for some reason it won't allow me to get to the support or download areas. Can someone from Limewire please assist? |
First, can I just check that you bought Pro from www.limewire.com and that your Pro is less than 6 months old. If you've got Pro from anywhere but the official site, your email address won't be in the database. Likewise, if it's been more than 6 months since you bought Pro, your email address won't be in the database:) If you do have the official version & it's not out of date, there are links here that should help http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=54008 The easiest way to stop this happening again is to make sure that you keep the link to your personal download page;) |
I purchased directly from limewire.com. My purchase was more than 6 months ago and that basically means that I no longer can download the app (even from the original e-mail that I kept) nor can get product support. Does that about sum it up? |
Yes it does. You could've kept the old installer. Or you could've renewed Pro when your 6 months was nearly up;) |
