![]() I am currently downloading an mpeg file of about 250 mb in size. When the file was about 2% complete, the clip ran for about 17 seconds. Now, according to the download window, the file is 60% complete, yet when I preview it, it will only play the same 17 seconds. Repeated attempts to view the file result in the same thing: the playing of the same 17 second fragment (sometimes a few seconds longer, sometimes a few seconds shorter). This happens quite frequently. Does the problem rest with the file, the player (quicktime 7.0), my preferences, or .................? When I look at the incomplete file library, it shows (in red) that the file is 33,000kb in size- that number has not changed appreciably for some time. (I confess I'm reluctant to ask about the whole red letters/black letters thing in the incomplete library, since I assume I should know what that means, but....) Any advice you could give would be appreciated. Thanks, |
