Install problems, frustrated help needed desperately!!
 

Everytime i try to open the saved downloaded program i keep getting this error message 'cannot initialize plug in'

I have tried adjusting a few things, but no joy, I am no wiz kid on this sort of stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am so desperate to get up and running after so many attempts!!

The consensus seems to be that it's a Java problem! Try uninstalling your Java (thru add/remove programs) & reinstall it using the offline installer here

I never thought about Java, but i will check out the version, fingers crossed and bit of persistance might get the better!!
