Default Downloads won't connect or are slow

I've been messing around with LW for quite a while now. Looking through various posts on these boards but I still cant figure out what is wrong. Here is my problem.

After I do a search and click to download a file, it either fails to connect, saying I need more sources, or I get a maximum speed of 10kbps. Help!

I tried downloading one of those magnetbox links, as someone suggested, but I couldn't connect, and it said it needed more sources. I have deleted and reinstalled LW, deleted my preferences, and still I've gotten nowhere.

I'm using Windows XP Pro with SP2
My ISP is a local wireless broadband company
I'm using ZoneAlarm firewall
using a lynksys workgroup switch model EZXS88W
using LW 4.10.9 and Java 1.5.0_06
on a network, and LW doesnt work with any PC on the network, and some have different/no firewalls but all are running XP Pro with SP2

Have you configured your ZoneAlarm firewall?

Have a read through this thread, someone else who can't download a magnet link. Follow LOTR's advice from post #8 onwards

It could be an ISP problem. Someone else might have a few more clues
