problem getting games to work ok... so i'm pretty new to the p2p world. everything i use limewire for works fine... i've got a super nintendo emulator and every game on the planet, loads of music, even a few novels i've been looking for. the one thing that continuosly doesn't work and drives me up the wall is getting games to work. first i tried downloading warcraft 3, download completed but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE was either loaded with a virus or wouldn't work cause they were missing a file. i'm currently trying to download elder scrolls IV: oblivion and when i go to extract them i'm running into viruses and it's the SAME VIRUS on each one, some w32.alcra.f file that i'm getting sick of looking at, cause my computer alerts me of the virus, deletes it, then won't let me open the file. do people purposely plant all these things with viruses? warcraft 3 i found a few that don't have viruses, but they're all missing the same "storm.dll" file or something. these people are loading them up to limewire, so i'm assuming there's a way to get them to work. how do i do that? |
