how do i upload songs to my MP3 player? i cant figure it out.....
 
i am so confused! i just got this mp3 player, installed the driver for win. 98 and now i con't figure out how to upload my downloaded sons from lime wire to put them on the mp3. will some one please e-mail me easy-to-understand instructions for the uploading process. my email is [email]*** or use the e-mail through the forum. thank you!!!!!:D

well, i will try all of that but, my pc asks if i want to create a folder for the shared files thing, so does that apply to the problem im having? :confused: im at school right now so i cant try it til later when i get home.

No, it doesn't have anything to do with shared files. It's better not to create shared files folders if you don't absolutely need them, btw.

Listen, you can make any new folder you want, and you can drag-and-drop your mp3 files in it.

For example, if your music player is Winamp (let's say), a good place to make one is to create a new folder in the Winamp folder. Call it MP3 (or better still, MP3a... an unusual name is more easily hidden from intruders). Then, just make a shortcut of that folder on your desktop (right-click on the folder you've made, then drag-and-drop it to your desktop and select "make shortcut here"). That way, you can get to your mp3s really easily by double-clicking on the desktop icon to open the folder that's in the Winamp folder.

I'm not so sure about the suggestion to put song files in a program folder. If you should update the program there's a chance the folder will be deleted & replaced.

:D :D ok you guys are starting to confuse me. i hate being confused. im a newby and i really appriciate you guys help, but its like your speeking greek! please explain in english. i have to also figure out why i have to resart my pc after i use my limewire. thanks, ill try to figure it out. :D

alright, according to the first post, when i right click i should get an option to send the song to the driver. ok i dont have that. i am running windows 98 and i have to install the drive required for the MP3 player, i cant do that til sunday cause thats when my parents are gonna give it back. any way id go by the manual but its confusing me more that anything else. WILL THE SEND TO COMAND SHOW WHEN THE DRIVER IS INSTALLED? i hope i can get it to work. please help!!

You really need to have your MP3 player as the E Drive wont appear until you plug it in...So I guess you will have to wait until Sunday and then follow the steps previously given...
