burning to disk
 
Hi Hope u can help I can download a film ok and watch it on either media player or divx but when i try to burn it to disk it puts it onto the disk but won't play on any dvd player?:mad: What am I doing wrong??? :confused:
I can burn music to disk fine?????????????

You need to get a program that will convert your files and then burn them...

You definately need a converter and there are some out there...
Type dvd converter into search and see what comes up...
You could also go to http://www.afterdawn.com they have good programs you could check out....

Hi Thank u all for ur help! I'v downloaded the free trial for dvdsanta put a film on to dvd but when it plays it keeps jumping and sticking in parts. I've tried 3 different disks! r- r+ and rw and does it on all of them, thought it may have been the download so downloaded something else but it does it on that too!!
Am I really stupid?? or am I just unlucky??? please help:eek:

Sounds like the bit-rate is too high. Make sure you use dolby surround ac-3 audio & not pcm. And make sure the video bitrate max is less than 9. I don't know that software but those are typical symptoms of that issue.
