 not so fast downloads I recently upgraded my internet from a dialup which I was constantly downloading at 5KB to 256K dsl wich I now average around 4KB while down loading. I have tried configuring Limewire as per the instructions & it did not help. I did a speed test & here is what I came up with... My download speed was 140kilobits=17.5KB My upload speed was 221 kilobits=27.625KB I am getting no where near this. Any help would be appreciated Windows XP Penium 4 2.8ghz 256mb of ram ZoneAlarm firewall I am directly connected to my home wireless router with my laptop connected wirelessly.  |
