So, I had been downloading music for about an hour or two and limewire froze and I had to force quit. By this time a lot of my files were already completed. When I reopened, the incomplete downloads resumed, but when I went to add my new songs to my iTunes library they weren't there. There was probably at least a hundred songs that had completed downloading before limewire quit. Is there any way for me to get these again and why did it do that?

If they were complete & you didn't delete them by mistake, they should be around somewhere. Try using your computer's search, look for one of the file names.

(If your computer crashes or you shut down the computer before LW's properly closed, any incompletes you had going will start again from 0%)

i found them. for some reason they were in a new folder under my desktop and i have no idea how they got there!
