Try to Download file but it says that I have the exact same file!
 

Okay I have no idea why this has been happening all of a sudden but most of the files I download, that I've never downloaded before, when I DL them something will pop up and say "You have the exact same file at (completely different song) do you want to download anyways?" I download anyways but on this particular computer, I don't have a sound card so I'd have to go onto my other computer's limewire and listen if i wanted to. Why is it saying this??!!:(

Ok, I tried restarting my computer and tht didn't work but it wouldn't have worked anyways because this happens like everytime I'm on limewire. :confused: I hope that when my ipod comes in, when I finally listen to the song it's not the same as another file like the computer said. It's so weird, this has never happened befoe until like last week and I've had limewire for like EVER.:(

It means you have the file of the same name in either your download folder or your incomplete folder. To solve the problem use the Save As ... option which will show. Whether it's the same or not, at least that will give you the option. Otherwise, try deleting your LW preferences whilst LW is closed & see if that makes a difference; Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)
