I have tried all the problem solvers that have been sent to me but i still cannot download. I tried the magnet link but all that happened was that the download began then my speed dropped to zero and it stopped. My speed is not getting above 3/4 and then it is stopping altogether. Is there anything more I can do.

It sounds to me like your ISP (internet service provider) is at fault. The magnet link is a good test for that. Who is your isp? We need specific details to help you further.

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? If yes, then you have firewall issues. See Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)

My ISP is tiscali, there is no brick wall on the blue world icon. I don't know if this is relevent but my modem had a problem about a month ago and had to be replaced.

Tiscali is known to shape bandwidth. There's some info here

If you do a search (top right) for Tiscali, you'll find that a lot of people are having the same problems

There's some info here about the hours that Tiscali apply shaping

Having tried all the great advice that I have recieved it would appear that non of them has worked. Would I be best advised to try a new ISP as my curent contract has elapsed and I can change at anytime. If this is the case can anyone advise on the best ISP to use that will allow me to use Lw again.

I have just installed Spyware Nuker Xt and have done a deep clean but the problem still exists. It looks as though I will have to change my ISP, thanks to all who tried to help me fix this problem and keep up the excellent work that you do.
