Well thanks for the thought. I got my email reply from Tiscali pointing me to 'fair use policy'. Cancelled at the weekend. Like someone said- vote with the feet..

I would just stay a way from Tiscali at all cost.
Even though i dont i dont use it thank god.
I use armstrong not sure if any of you even get them out your way.
But the point is just get a new isp check them out be four you sinup.

Some time's i just want to throw my computer out the window

Ive just purchased Limewire Pro as i was having the same problem earlier and i too am with Tiscali. Everything is up and running better than before so £11 well spent for me. I cant understand how this helped with the problem as i read that Tiscali was blocking it.

I wish you all the best with Tiscali, as with all of us things go well to start,then if you download more than 5 gigs per week, or 1 gig per day, the trouble starts,and believe you me it's trouble !!
TISCALI HAVE A VERY AGGRESSIVE POLICY,WHICH IS NOT EXPLAINED AT THE START WHEN YOU SIGN, THEY ADVERTISE '' UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS '' WHAT YOU GET IS A REALLY LIMITED, DIFFICULT TO USE SERVICE.which becomes worse if you continue downloading,they mess with the protocols so much that if you are trying to use limewire,you cannot even use google at the same time,and your downloads can only be done in very restricted times, i.e. after 12 midnight until morning,very limited indeed.
