![]() I've had limewire for about a year and 1/2 ever since i've had dial-up but I recently upgraded to about 400mbps broadband and ever since then the files that I click to download normally have 0kbps next to the file being downloaded and even though I have a number of good hosts for the files i'm downloading it never seems to pick up and during that time i am not even browsing the internet or doing anything to lag my download. sometimes the file will download partially but will time out say things like : need more sources/ waiting in line etc. I looked that limewires site for help hints and I allowed people to access my gnutella network in my firewall settings. I am running windows xp and have a firewall. I would apprieciate it if someone would help me with this problem because this problem has occured on other p2p clients and i would like to continue my filesharing i have the free version of limewire 4.10.9 |

![]() Hmmm... have a read of this. It suggests to me that Avolve are using trafffic shaping technology & this may well be why your downloads are so, so slow. http://www.logisense.com/pr/engageip.pdf As for your adapter, I don't have a clue ![]() You could try changing ports, there are instructions within the satellite thread I gave you earlier. Damn... beaten again. |
