Default Help with completing downloads

When my downloads are reaching 100%, they are simply stopping, and not moving on to the "verifying file contents" phase. This has never happened before, and I can't figure out how to complete the downloads. I have tried pausing and restarting the downloads, canceling them then resuming, and setting my download options to allow more downloads. For some reason, the d/l status stays at "queued" even though the progress is at 100%. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, thats the problem I'm having... Well, I researched the files I'm downloading, and it had the d/ling icon next to the files. I tried canceling and restarting the downloads, but still have the same problem... It just has the status as "queued". One of the files has 5 sources and the other has over 40, so it can't be a problem with the number of sources. I've downloaded large movie files before... I don't understand why its happening.

Well, thanks for the help. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with the actual movie files when I previewed them, so I just ended up renaming the files and moving them from the incomplete folder. I hope that no problems arise from not verifying the file contents...

Make sure you cancel them from the downld window before removing from the incomplete folder. If they're video files then within the LW Library you can select the incomplete folder -> select that file & press Launch to see if it is 100%. This has often been a problem with larger video files. I've experienced it myself.

I believe the new LW 4.11.2 Beta has overcome this issue. More about it here http://www.limewire.org/forum/showpo...36&postcount=1

Please don't tell us what copyrighted material you're downloading! That's against the forum rules... could you edit your post?

Sounds like you might have a problem with codecs. What player are you using? There's a link to different codec packs here & also VLC player, which comes with built in codecs & plays just about anything
Codecs & VLC
(if you're using WMP, the XP codec pack is a good one)
