In Desperate Need Of Help

Right, please dont ignore this..

When downloading songs I dont get speed any higher than 12KB/s no matter how many hosts, where as on kazaa lite I would get speeds of up to 120Kb/s as I have a 1MB connection

I have a firewall, McAfee Personal Firewall Plus, BUT no brick in displayed infront of the globe.

What can I do

I'm good with techno stuff on computers but this is really buggin me so any help is much appreciated.
