 P2P is short for Peer 2 Peer eg: file sharing.... It's becomming more common that ISP's will filter or shape p2p/file shareing apps like limewire either to conserve bandwidth or to try to control the sharing of copyrighted material.

| Ok, thanks for the info. But consider this too. My connection speed dropped massively, but my classmates' didn't. Not one of them!!! Furthermore, they use the same ISP company as I do! |

| Try deleting the limewire preferences folder(while LW is closed) point 2 & 3. Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should!

| 6_Pacs last link will tell you were your preference folder is point 2 and 3... The red dot means you are not visible to other forum members when you are online...Mine is green it means Im online....  |
