Newbie here to the forum
 

I've been using Limewire sometime now and just now downloaded the version 4.10.9 . I have in the past and still continue to have total "Freeze ups" quite often that I just have to shut off and re-start my computer. Don't laugh too hard at me I am still running Windows 98 :eek:

Limewire is a java-based program and it runs pretty slowly at times, and freezes quite often even on Windows XP. However, the freeze-ups don't usually last for very long. If you wait it out it should spring back to life.
