 Download Speed at only 1kb/s on limewirePRO and 8mb connection!!! Help! Hi, i have an 8mb internet connection, and Limewire PRO but my download speed is only at 1kb/s and always stays like this. I have tried downloading other files, I have made sure there are lots of sources, I havent got any uploads as i have only just installed it so have no files to share. There seems to be nothing out of the odinary on my computer. I am running no other programmes etc. Please help, Thanks Chris   |

 Can you give some details please...... OS LW & Java version Firewall you're using Modem/router brand & model ISP Connection type Where you connect from Are you sharing a connection with other computers Also is there a wall in front of the Globe in Limewire.... |

| Details... OS - Windows XP Java Version Firewall - Norton Modem - High speed broadband modem ISP - BT Connection Type - 8Mb Broadband connection Not sharing connection with any other connection No wall in front of Globe. i appreciate your help, thanks.  |
