Keep in mind LW's media player can only play audio files.

Sounds to me like you need to change the default for playing video files. See Setting Default video app

BTW if you're interested, a player called VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) has in-built codecs & is generally very reliable. We frequently recommend it for people playing their videos.

Else make sure you have all necessary codecs for your normal video player, CODECs list and alternate players for Movies

Whatever you've downloaded will go into your saved folder. Tools > options > saving will tell you the location of that folder. By default it's C:/Documents and Settings/your name/Shared. Did you go through the link that LOTR gave about setting default player? I don't know about Nero, but sometimes it can be hard to change away from WMP - you have to change the file types that the player is associated with... maybe it's the same deal with Nero??

Every windows program wants to be the default. lol Find the video file you're downlding or have downlded & go to File ->Open with or right-click the file & choose those options & select VLC & tick always open with.

You can also access your downlds this way: For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

You can do the same thing with the incomplete folder in the LW Library window.
