how can i delete a song from my ipod?

Depends on how it's set up. If it is set to manually load.. plug in and drag the song out of iPod. If automatic remove song from any playlist in iTunes which contains it and loads onto iPod and connect iPod to update. I hope that helps, It's a very basic question and should be in the manual.....

thanx. But i don't see a remove menu 4rm the playlist menu on itunes..where can i view the manual cos i didn't get one.
when i'm dragging the song, where do i drag it to??

Hmm ..In Mac I believe you drag to the trash ..In windows .. imagine the recycle bin but I'm not 100% sure.

That second link will get you a manual .. and I just taught myself something. To delete a song ..enable manually manage songs and playlists. in iTunes while ipod is plugged in .. select the song you don't want in iTunes .. right click ... clear. Then change back to your previous setting before reoving iPod.
