okay i can download any file except some movies for some reason. i dont know why it just says "connecting" and never does anything.

and i also use bearshare and it does the same thing.

and here is one more thing. its the same on my friends computer and my mothers, not just mine. whats going on?

They are fake files choose files to download that have fewer host 40 or less do a bitzi lookup on the file before DL them

wow fake files? how does that work? you would think they would still download...

No ... they don't downld. On my mac, they self terminate (cancel) after attempting to connect for a while (I think they only cancel themselves on macs.) They spam the network. Google Overpeer & you'll get an idea of who they are & who they work for. Their objective is to destroy people's enthusiasm for downlding copyright material. The same people who spam the network with viruses.
