Unhappy Uploads while I'm disconnected?

Cking the monitor tab this morning, while I was disconnected from LW showed 3 UL's going on. How can that occur while I am disconnected.

I have been having some problems lately from what looked liked a virus or trojan via LW lately: Shutting off LW and it starting right back up on it's own and over 500 of 750.6 files DL'd!

What's going on? I ran Norton Antivirus and it shows no infections. Running 4.10.9 pro.

I think I have the same virus, though 'McCafe' doesn't find it (which seems wierd to me as there are records of it on this site going back a year)
Not only does 'CNT/ALT/DEL' not work but my computer will not read from cd rom, though device manager tells me there is no problem.
Is that just the virus?
I've looked at the instructions, but do not feel that confident. Surely there is a anti virus program that will remove it.
Any suggestions please.
Thankyou.

If you think there's a virus that you can't get rid of, go to Norbiesworld (link in foolofthehill's post). Register on his site & follow the instructions for free computer help. Download Hijackthis & post the log, Norbie will check everything out for you. If it turns out that there's no virus, he'll still be able to help you to sort out what's going on
