Default downloading to?

Why can't I choose where my downloads go to? I have an iMac and, in theory, all downloads go to a download file. This does not seem to happen with most Limewire downloads. Also, why can't I download direct to CD? Not a complaint, just a question caused by the frustration of having to find downloaded files.

Go to Limewire>preferences>saving>save folder. Here you can choose your save folder or download folder, and is where all your downloads will go unless you specify alternate specialist locations. You will need to either download to your burning programme's folder, or search for the files from your burning programme. You cannot burn a CD direct from Limewire. You can for instance download to your desktop and the files will be easily available.

I hope this helps

It would be impracticle to try to burn as you downld. You don't have all the info available so the burner wouldn't know how to enter the TOC. It simply wouldn't work!

For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. Then drag & drop the files wherever you desire. Such as Toast or iTunes or ....
