Default 2 questions!

1) what if a movie is over 700 MB? is it still a complete file?
2) when i try to download VLC media player through a download location it says the site is blocked from downloading files on to my computer. Why is it doing that and can i still download it?
cheers

Yes some video files are larger than 700 MB. If you intend to burn to VCD then your burner will need to squish it down in size a little. But for dvd it will be fine.

Not sure why you can't get VLC. Try a different mirror site. Are you using Peerguardian or something similar?

Peerguardian is a utility that stops certain organisations connecting to your computer without your knowledge. Rarely but sometimes they get the wrong sites added by mistake ... but I've never heard of VLC being a mistake.

Peerguardian (FREE), eg: Organisations trying to connect via Port 6346
