downloading When I'm trying to download a file, all I get is a popup something like http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/musi...aff=nap-481330 and the file won't download. Double clicking, right clicking and selecting download, or clicking the download button at the bottom of the screen all produce the same result (no surprise). I've got the basic version of LW. TIA for any help. |
Those files are spam. Recently it seems that the network is being flooded with bogus files. If your not using the latest version of limewire(4.12.3) you may want to try it. It's supposed to have fixed that problem. Also when d/ling files try the ones that have less than 10 hosts. Newer more popular files are more likely to be fake. |
OOoops! I have the same issue however it would appear that at the fisrt time you use limewire you are asked a question about licences and if you hit yes instead of now whatwe see is the outcome. anyone know how to fix? |
Hi,, TAYLS450 i'm looking into that problem as it seems like a few people have done the same.. There is a way around this i just can't remember what it is... WaTcH ThIs SpAcE LOL :) :) :D |
Here's the link for the license requirement option. Thats not the problem that gtccf44 was refering to. He/she is refering to when you click a file to download and it opens your web browser to an internet site. Usually trying to sell you something. |
Thanks for your help, I just need to download a file that's a ways further down the list (sorted by number of hosts.) I've got it working now. Thanks again. |
