Downloading THINGIES

HELLO,
For about a year now I've been downloading videos and music on limewire. Last week I wanted to downoad a software. But I have a problem after I've downoaded it. It is just a file that says "setup" or there just that picture of that white square with a blue stripe on the top.

How can I open the software? please help!

ANyone watch BIG BROTHER? MIKEY, PETE, GLYN AND NIKI TO THE FINAL!!!
