Default incomplete downloads

I am new to Gnutella, but am having a problem I didn't see addressed in the FAQ or this forum. Downloads seem to go fine, but then when I play them back, they are sawed off/incomplete. I notice the file size on Gnutella is different than the file size that I've downloaded. This is happening every time. I am on cable modem, on a Mac OS9.1 and am using iTunes to play them back. I looked through Preferences in both Gnutella and iTunes and cannot seem to find anyplace to increase the file size allotted to the program. What is the recommended memory size recommended for the application? Thanks for any help.

I don't know exactly if this is your problem, but alot of times, people tend to cut you off whenever you downlaod just for spite. Has this happened everytime you tried to download?

Default re: incomplete downloads

Thanks for replying, but I doubt it. My computer says "100%" downloaded, yet my file size is slightly smaller than what it was supposed to have downloaded. My first reaction was to check Preferences and look for a file size limit on my end here. Yes, it has happened all the time. Even at 1:30am and at 7:30am.

Since I am new to this application, does anyone know of any preference that I should be checking/changing to allow the full size to download on my hard drive? (Mac OS9.1)
